To promote their coverage of the Chicago Cubs, White Sox, Bulls, Blackhawks and various other sporting events, versions of a stock image bulldog were modified to represent each sports franchise.

The separate images were shot at the correct angle, and composited together. The final versions were used in various promotional materials, as well as large-scale signage as shown below.

To promote the new soccer stadium built in Bridgeport, various promotional materials were created. An old soccer ball was found, shot, then heavily modified to fit the "whats black and white and red all over" headline of the campaign.

High Dynamic Range imagery - "HDR"

The tonal range of all cameras and film is limited. By purposely underexposing and overexposing the same image and overlaying each, an image with a greatly increased tonal range can be created. Manually masking and editing the piece avoids the cartoonish look of many HDR attempts. This same technique can be applied to pull out details and tones otherwise lost for a range of applications.
